Tina and Gvido started in the Alpaca breeding business in 2010 with 3 pregnant females with cria at foot. The herd increased in numbers not only by births but with opportunities that became available in the market. Currently there are over 50 alpacas with 16 more to birth in 2014.

  • The Stellar Alpaca ranch is approximately 6 acres, located in Spanaway Washington, (south of Tacoma) in a relatively rural area.
  • The Stellar goal is to breed alpacas for the best possible fleece and conformation. The herd consists of only Huacayas in a multitude of colors, mostly solids.
  • Recent events indicate that their goal is on the right track. One of the young males, a True Black, juvenile won first place in his class at both the PNAA Show in Pasco, WA. and the CABA Show in Portland, OR. Then went on to win the Color Champion at both venues. A truly remarkable accomplishment with the very first showings. Since then STLR COMET has gone to several local shows and won 1st place and Color Champion consistently. In 2013, COMET was awarded 1st place and Color Champion at the National Show in Denver, Colorado.
  • The ranch also offers breedings, agisting, transport and some limited Alpaca products such as socks, scarves, blankets and various trinkets.
